🧭 What is an incident, and why register it?
An incident is something that deviates from the norm—such as damage, deficiencies, or issues that require follow-up. By registering incidents directly in Autility, you ensure proper documentation, prioritization, and follow-up, while reducing the risk of things being overlooked. Effective incident control is also essential during inspections, such as those conducted by the fire department.
📲 How to register an incident
Imagine you're doing your routine fire safety check and notice that an emergency exit is blocked. With Autility right in your pocket, you can register the incident immediately:
Open Twin In-Use on your mobile device
Tap the “+” icon and select Incident
Fill in the necessary details—such as a description and photos, along with the relevant building and asset (in this case, the emergency exit)
Create the incident. You can update it later via mobile or web
🛠️ How to manage an incident
Once an incident is registered, it receives the status Open Incident:
Open Twin In-Use on your mobile

Select the incident you want to review. Here you'll find all relevant information, tasks, and comments linked to it
Update status: As the incident is being addressed, you can change the status to In Progress
