📱 Drafting Assets in the Field – Even Without Coverage
With Autility, you can create and save draft assets directly from your mobile device—even when you are offline. This makes it easy to document information while out in the field, without having to wait until you are back at the office.
🔧 How Does It Work?
When you are inside the digital twin, you can take photos of an asset. These images are automatically saved as a draft, which you can later edit and complete whenever it suits you. This provides flexibility, especially during site inspections where mobile coverage may be limited or unavailable.
📝 Step-by-Step:
Select the asset location in the digital twin to open the camera
Select Register Asset
Take one or more photos
The asset is automatically saved as a draft on your mobile device
Once you are back online, you can edit, add more details, and complete the registration

This feature is currently available only in the mobile version of Autility
Drafts will soon be automatically synced with the web version
Drafts are securely stored locally on your device until you choose to finalize and sync them
