The digital copy of your property, "the building in your pocket"

Updated over 2 months ago

🧭 What Is the Twin?

The Twin is an operations-focused digital copy of your building—a tool that helps you orient yourself and manage tasks on the property. It gives you a complete overview of everything you need—right in your pocket!

šŸ› ļø In the Twin, You Can:

  • Place assets so you know exactly where they are

  • Link tasks, routines, and incidents to specific locations in the building

  • Find and navigate all relevant information without digging through folders or systems

  • Orient yourself in large and complex buildings

šŸ“± How Does It Work?

On Mobile:

  1. Open Twin In-Use on your phone

  2. Tap the ā€œšŸ”ā€ icon

  3. To open the Twin, select the building you’re working on from the map

  4. From there, you can navigate the property and locate exactly where assets, tasks, or incidents are situated

On Web:

  1. Open Autility

  2. Select a building under My Buildings and choose Twin, or click Map in the left-hand menu and select the desired building from the map to open the Twin

From here, you can navigate the property and place or create assets, tasks, and incidents

You can also click Twin under each individual building listed in My Buildings to go directly to that building’s Twin

āœ… Benefits of the Twin:

  • No more guessing where systems and components are located

  • Easily switch between different Twins to keep track of multiple buildings

  • Documentation, tasks, and incidents are always accessible—linked directly to the correct location

šŸ“Œ Example Use Case:

During an inspection, you notice that a door mechanism isn’t working properly. You open the Twin, locate the door, and create an incident. You can add photos and descriptions so the issue can be followed up by the right person later. Because it’s entered directly into the Twin, there’s no doubt about where to find the incident and the necessary information again.
