Whether you are conducting an energy audit or starting documentation for a building, a digital twin is a powerful tool. It provides a digital replica of the building, giving you a clear overview of all floors and rooms where you can register assets, work orders, and incidents.
How to create the digital twin
Go to Settings > Buildings
Select the building you need, or create a new one if needed
When the building is selected, select Create twin.
Select the number of floors the building has, including basement levels. Optionally name the floors and selec Next.
Upload the builiding model by selecting the plus icon next to "Upload model". Multiple file types are supported, as shown inthe interface. Select Next.
Link floor plans to the respective floors, then select Next.
Review the building summary to ensure accuracy, then select Finish.
You will now see the digital twin with floor plans correctly layered for each level.
TIP - we recommend using .png files instead of .pdf, as they load faster and provide clearer images when zoomed.
