Navigation and User Experience (UX)

The workspace and detail view

To reduce cognitive load and avoid deep submenus, the interface uses two main navigation patterns.

  • Main workspace (Left/Centre): Displays overviews such as tables, calendars or the visual 3D model of the building.

  • Detail view (Right): Opens automatically on the right-hand side when you select a specific entity (e.g. a task, a deviation or a building component). All relevant information, image carousels, history and communication logs are gathered here in one place.

Standard controls

  • Search and filtering: Located at the top of lists and the dashboard. Selected filters are retained when you switch views; if you filter by a specific location, this filter is retained when you switch from a list to the digital twin.

  • Language selection: Easily managed via the settings in the user profile. You can set the entire user interface to both Norwegian and English.
